Grokdoc:General disclaimer
From Grokdoc
We hope this experiment will work well, but it is an experiment. Because it is a group project, open to all, it is possible that you may see language you are not used to, for example, although we ask people to please keep the site clean and appropriate for anyone's sensibilities. We will clean up such problems as we see them. Do let me know if you see something that offends you. Just click on the little yellow envelope on the left to email me.
Because it is a wiki, your privacy can't be absolute. The software keeps track of comments by default, and there is no other way that I know of to make a wiki work. We turned off as much as we could and still function.
We ask you not to put any copyrighted material on Grokdoc. If you see any, please notify me right away. That shouldn't happen, in the normal order of events, though, because this is a research study that is new and fresh, not something where we will be sharing the ideas or thoughts that went before us.
We reserve the right to remove any offensive or illegal posts or to block those who demonstrate a persistence in disruptive behavior.
Finally, everything on this site is copyrighted and then released under a Creative Commons license, so the world can build on it. Putting it on a wiki means that others can edit it and they will. If you find that unacceptable, then a wiki project isn't for you and it would be best that you not participate. The purpose of the experiment is to create a useful manual people all over the world can access freely, use and enjoy.
